While often left up to the students and
their support network, study skills are increasingly taught in high and at the

made up of the two words students and dying (Stu-dying).
Study habit inventories have successfully
identified a proclivity for academic achievement not accounted for by ability.
These inventories may be identifying a motivational trait that it is difficult
to chart by using traditional ability measures. The concept of motivation is
quite difficult to pin down and profession educators often turn their
particular notions of motivation when explaining success of failure. Motivation

DISCUSSION
OF RESULT
Study skills inventory was a psychological response of the pupils. In
the face of seemingly in surmountable pressure and frustrations parents and
teachers are sometimes unable to guide their children or student effectively.
This study was conducted among five students of standard VIII. The first and
third students were showing good study skills. The other three did not possess
a better study habit. Their performance in classroom, way of doing homework and
classwork, preparations for attending examination etc. were the various aspects
which measure the study skills. Law performance in any of this field will
affect the achievement of the student.
CONCLUSION
Study skills are approaches applied to learning. Study skill inventories
have successfully identified a proclivity for academic achievement not
accounted by ability.
This study was helpful to identify the study habit of students. From
this study it is clear that study habits and achievement level are directly
proportional to each other. Through the test it is understood that the students
have to follow many things for better studies.
